Hearing awareness majority of deaf minority

Title: Hearing Awareness majority of the deaf community Purpose: The aim was to determine the level of awareness and knowledge of the majority hearing population of minority deaf population. The research focuses on three areas: the experience of hearing population of the deaf community, the culture of deaf people and deaf communication. Methods: The questionnaire was presented to 100 respondents. Was anonymous and age of the respondents was 15 years old and unidentified. The questionnaire was self- constructed . It was a quantitative research methodology type of observation. The results of the questionnaires were collected after a personal touch, from processed and analyzed using statistical program EXCEL, and then presented in tabular and graphical form. Results: Respondents from the Ústí region have confirmed by their answers two hypotheses and one hypothesis disproved. Confirmed hypothesis related to personal experiences with the hearing majority deaf community. Personal experience of respondents in excess of 50%, even moved above this high a percentage point. The remaining two hypotheses concerning the communication and culture of deaf people (both 50%), were refuted, since awareness of respondents was not so good.
